Amstel Gold Race 2016

The Amstel Gold Race, the only bike classic of the Netherlands. It was my first time riding the AGR. I had the privilege of getting an invitation for the event since the company I work for (eFocus) works for Heineken. Together with 10 colleagues we decided to ride the 150km. So we dressed up in our eFocus bike shorts & shirts.and gathered at 9:00am at the start line in Valkenburg. The day started with some clouds and some sunshine. It was very nice riding weather, but unfortunately not for the whole day. We’ve had a bit of everything, wind, sunshine, rain, heavy rain, ice storm. It was a very nice event and it was my first time riding the hils in Limburg. A bit crowded which made it seem like a 150km peloton. Till next year!
